Joseph Loccisano is an American contemporary abstract painter. His work aims to evoke dynamism and organic harmony through a combination of highly-pigmented colors and variable forms.
Loccisano achieves his active compositions with a unique approach: he seldom uses brushes, instead using high-pressure air as a tool to manipulate epoxy resins, acrylics, and alcohol inks across his canvases.This results in distinctive arrangements of colors and shapes which leak, blend, or spread across his canvases as if they were living forms.
